new day

I’ve been hiding out in this gloomy weather.  This week I am a bit weepy as my heart lags behind my head in knowing things are going to be alright.  I woke up monday with an overwhelming sense of  today is a “new day,” what a glimmer of hope that is!   I am hanging onto jj heller’s song back home, and the forecast for this weekend – sun.

Don’t let your eyes get used to darkness
The light is coming soon
Don’t let your heart get used to sadness
Put your hope in what is true

No matter how the wind may blow
It cannot shake the sun
Lay your sorrows on the ground
It’s time to come back home

When the future seems uncertain
Like the coming of a storm
Your loving Father carries his children
When they can’t walk anymore

No matter how the wind may blow
It cannot shake the sun
Lay your sorrows on the ground
It’s time to come back home

    This is really nice.

A long time ago I thought about naming my blog
diary of a soloar powered woman but I didn’t.
I smiled when I read your blog name.
It is a lovely, and thoughtful blog.
