We have several sets of these little colored ikea cups, when we rearranged the kitchen I put them in a low drawer so the kids could get their own glasses. Although I love their independence, I pick up cups all over the house. “Which color did you have?” is a very normal phrase, as is “I want pink.” This spring I made a little cup of my own, pressed with a few of my gem stamps. I’ve grown pretty attached to it – no need to ask the question, everyone knows it’s mom’s cup…

I am a wife, mother, friend, artist, swimmer, traveler, cook, adventurer and follower of Christ. This is where I share the best moments in my day – the kind you know would be a crime to keep to yourself. I write like I talk, not too fancy but from the heart. View all posts by Kate

We loved our neighbors on Thornhill; these girls and their mamas! They were such an answer to prayer when we moved here. We have been renting in Colorado for the last two years and the owner wanted to move back in. 😓Thankfully we were able to find a new home to purchase nearby and make it a bit more of our own. Trusting the bond that was formed and biker gang will never be broken!Last day of school!!! So proud of my gold metal academic girls, they rocked their classes with perfect scores. We woke up early this morning to watch the royal wedding.
